Royapuram Fishing Harbor

Located in the north of the Chennai Port, Royapuram Fishing Harbor is one of the largest fishing hubs in Tamil Nadu. The fisheries department is currently building a new mini jetty in Royapuram Fishing Harbor, which will allow for the launching of a good number of fishing boats. The project is expected to cost about Rs 5 crore and will provide a modern facility for the fishermen.

Dakshinachitra Museum

The Dakshinachitra Museum is a cross-cultural living museum which exhibits the various cultures of South India. It is an initiative of the Madras Craft Foundation and is situated in Muttukadu, Tamil Nadu, about 25 km south of Chennai.
